In the Fall of 2023, the Town of Garfield improved their two boat landings on Wapogasset. The major project was the reconstruction of the Sunrise Beach boat landing. The main purpose of this project was to move the boat landing out to match the adjacent shorelines. The second improvement the Township made was the addition of electronic pay stations at both the Garfield Park & Sunrise Beach boat landings. Please note, any person using one of these landings is required to pay before launching their watercraft. It does not matter if you're a resident of Wapogasset or Bear Trap, everyone needs to pay to launch their watercraft. Please contact the Town of Garfield with any questions. 715-268-4857
