Background

The WBTL Sanitary District and WBT Lake Improvement Association work jointly to prepare a comprehensive lake management plan every 10 years.  This plan update will cover the years 2027 - 2036. The draft plan was developed by an advisory committee representing the Sanitary District, Lake Association, and YMCA Camp Icaghowan, and lake residents. Their work was guided by a series of fact sheets that included information about the lakes and their management and summarized results of recent lake studies. These fact sheets are also available on the Sanitary District and Lake Association websites.

The plan and related studies are supported by grants from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the funds from the Lake Association and the Sanitary District.
