Century family cottages on Wapogasset/Bear Trap
At the 2025 Fall Volunteer Recognition Dinner, the Lake Association recognized 2 Century Family Cottages, families who have lived on Wapo/Bear Trap for 100 years! The Freitag family homesteaded in the area in 1885 and the Jens Anderson family arrived in 1926. Family representatives gave a brief history of their arrivals and received a recognition plaque.
